And we know that all things work together ¹  for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose,

But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous, ¹  his faith is credited as righteousness.

They ¹  show that the work of the law is written ²  in their hearts, as their conscience bears witness and their conflicting thoughts accuse or else defend ³  them, ⁴ 

Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. For although all things are clean, ¹  it is wrong to cause anyone to stumble by what you eat.

For when we were in the flesh, ¹  the sinful desires, ²  aroused by the law, were active in the members of our body ³  to bear fruit for death.

for the Lord will execute his sentence on the earth completely and quickly.” ¹ 

Do not lag in zeal, be enthusiastic in spirit, serve the Lord.

And if it is by grace, it is no longer by works, otherwise grace would no longer be grace.

But now there is nothing more to keep me ¹  in these regions, and I have for many years desired ²  to come to you

So I boast ¹  in Christ Jesus about the things that pertain to God.

Greet Tryphena ¹  and Tryphosa, laborers in the Lord. Greet my dear friend ²  Persis, who has worked hard in the Lord.

But I see a different law in my members waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that is in my members.

Greet Prisca and Aquila, ¹  my fellow workers in Christ Jesus,

Now to the one who works, his pay is not credited due to grace but due to obligation. ¹ 

So, I find the law that when I want to do good, evil is present with me.

so we who are many are one body in Christ, and individually we are members who belong to one another.

For this reason you also pay taxes, for the authorities ¹  are God’s servants devoted to governing. ² 

For I will not dare to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in order to bring about the obedience ¹  of the Gentiles, by word and deed,

And in this way I desire to preach where Christ has not been named, so as not to build on another person’s foundation,

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. ¹
