22:7 God <0430> brought <01961> about Ahaziah’s downfall <08395> through his visit <0935> to Joram <03141>. When Ahaziah <0274> arrived <0935>, he went out <03318> with <05973> Joram <03088> to <0413> meet Jehu <03058> son <01121> of Nimshi <05250>, whom <0834> the Lord <03068> had commissioned <04886> to wipe out <03772> Ahab’s <0256> family <01004>. 22:8 While <01961> Jehu <03058> was dishing out punishment <08199> to <05973> Ahab’s <0256> family <01004>, he discovered <04672> the officials <08269> of Judah <03063> and the sons <01121> of Ahaziah’s <0274> relatives <0251> who were serving <08334> Ahaziah <0274> and killed <02026> them. 22:9 He looked for <01245> Ahaziah <0274>, who <01931> was captured <03920> while hiding <02244> in Samaria <08111>.
