Death at Age 29
Topic : Last WordsDavid Brainerd, pioneer missionary to the American Indians, lay ill. Plagued by health problems throughout his life, Brainerd was facing death at the age of only 29.
With his affairs in order, Brainerd was eager to join his Lord: “O, why is his chariot so long in coming? I long to be in heaven, praising and glorifying God with the holy angels.”
On October 9, he passed from this life to the next.
