13:6 The king pled with 1  the prophet, 2  “Seek the favor of 3  the Lord your God and pray for me, so that my hand may be restored.” So the prophet sought the Lord’s favor 4  and the king’s hand was restored to its former condition. 5 

1 Kings 18:24

18:24 Then you 6  will invoke the name of your god, and I will invoke the name of the Lord. The god who responds with fire will demonstrate that he is the true God.” 7  All the people responded, “This will be a fair test.” 8
