2 Timothy 4:21
Context4:21 Make every effort to come before winter. Greetings to you from Eubulus, Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers and sisters. 1
2 Timothy 1:9
Context1:9 He is the one who saved us 2 and called us with a holy calling, not based on 3 our works but on his own purpose and grace, granted to us in Christ Jesus before time began, 4

[4:21] 1 tn Grk “brothers,” but the Greek word may be used for “brothers and sisters” or “fellow Christians” as here (cf. BDAG 18 s.v. ἀδελφός 1, where considerable nonbiblical evidence for the plural ἀδελφοί [adelfoi] meaning “brothers and sisters” is cited).
[1:9] 2 tn More literally, “who saved us,” as a description of God in v. 8. Because of the length and complexity of the Greek sentence, a new sentence was started here in the translation.
