Deuteronomy 6:5-25

• Takkah Patut Ku Bernyanyi [KJ.290]

  1. Takkah patut 'ku bernyanyi syukur bagi Tuhanku, kar'na rahmat tak berbanding yang melimpah selalu? Memang sungguh dan setia, tak terhingga kasihNya Dan kekal bimbinganNya bagi yang mengabdi Dia. Biar dunia lenyap, kasih Allah 'kan tetap.	Ibr 1:11

  My Lord, I do not ask to stand As king or prince of high degree; I only pray that hand in hand A child and I may come to Thee. To teach a tender voice to pray, Two childish eyes Thy face to see— Two feet to guide in Thy straight way; This fervently I ask of Thee. O grant Thy patience to impart Thy holy law, Thy words of truth; Give, Lord, Thy grace, that my whole heart May overflow with love for youth. As step by step we tread the way, Trusting, and confident, and free A child and I shall, day by day, Find sweet companionship with Thee.

  When quiet in my house I sit, Thy Book be my companion still, My joy Thy sayings to repeat, Talk o’er the records of Thy will, And search the oracles divine, Till every heartfelt word be mine. O may the gracious words divine Subject of all my converse be! So will the Lord His follower join, And walk and talk Himself with me; So shall my heart His presence prove, And burn with everlasting love. Oft as I lay me down to rest, O may the reconciling Word Sweetly compose my weary breast! While, on the bosom of my Lord, I sink in blissful dreams away, And visions of eternal day. • [Deu 6:13] O My God, I Fear Thee!

  O my God, I fear Thee! Thou art very high, Yet to us, Thy children, Thou art always nigh, Far removed from mortal sight, Dwelling in eternal light. O my God, I fear Thee! Yet I come in prayer, For my Savior tells me I need not despair; Tells me of a Father’s love, And a home prepared above. Never earthly father Loveth like to Thee; Thou dost guide and pardon Guilty ones like me; Sending down Thy holy Son That all sinners might be won. O my God, I fear Thee! Holy, just, and true; But, my heavenly Father, I will love Thee, too; Guide me till this life be past, Take me to Thyself at last.
