John 5:2

[Joh 5:2] Bethesda Is Open
Bethesda is open, the angel has come,
The Spirit is calling for thee;
The waters are troubled, behold, there is room;
Salvation through Jesus is free.Refrain
Salvation is free, salvation is free,
Salvation through Jesus is free;
The waters are troubled, behold, there is room,
Bethesda is open for thee.Come press to the waters while mercy is here,
Accept of a cleansing complete;
O, hear the entreaty, dismissing your fear;
Lo, judgment and mercy now meet.Refrain
The house of Bethesda for sinners was built,
The pool is a fountain of love;
The waters are troubled for canceling guilt,
And still for our healing they move.Refrain

[Joh 5:2] Here At Bethesda’s Pool
Here at Bethesda’s pool, the poor,
The withered, halt, and blind;
With waiting hearts expect a cure,
And free admittance find.Here streams of wondrous virtue flow
To heal a sin-sick soul;
To wash the filthy white as snow,
And make the wounded whole.The dumb break forth in songs of praise,
The blind their sight receive;
The cripple runs in wisdom’s ways,
The dead revive, and live!Restrained to no one case, or time,
These waters always move;
Sinners, in every age and clime,
Their vital influence prove.Yet numbers daily near them lie,
Who meet with no relief;
With life in view they pine and die
In hopeless unbelief.’Tis strange they should refuse to bathe,
And yet frequent the pool;
But none can even wish for faith,
While love of sin bears rule.Satan their consciences has sealed,
And stupefied their thought;
For were they willing to be healed,
The cure would soon be wrought.Do Thou, dear Savior, interpose,
Their stubborn wills constrain;
Or else to them the water flows,
And grace is preached in vain.Play source: Cyberhymnal

[Heb 4:12] O That I Could Repent
O that I could repent!
O that I could believe!
Thou by Thy voice the marble rent,
Thou by Thy voice the marble rent,
The rock in sunder cleave!Thou, by Thy two-edged sword,
My soul and spirit part,
Strike with the hammer of Thy Word,
Strike with the hammer of Thy Word,
And break my stubborn heart!Savior, and Prince of Peace,
The double grace bestow;
Unloose the bands of wickedness,
Unloose the bands of wickedness,
And let the captive go:Grant me my sins to feel,
And then the load remove:
Wound, and pour in, my wounds to heal,
Wound, and pour in, my wounds to heal,
The balm of pardoning love.For Thy own mercy’s sake
The cursèd thing remove;
And into Thy protection take
And into Thy protection take
The prisoner of Thy love:In every trying hour
Stand by my feeble soul;
And screen me from my nature’s power,
And screen me from my nature’s power,
Till Thou hast made me whole.This is Thy will, I know,
That I should holy be,
Should let my sin this moment go,
Should let my sin this moment go,
This moment turn to Thee:O might I now embrace
Thy all-sufficient power;
And never more to sin give place,
And never more to sin give place,
And never grieve Thee more!Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Heb 4:12] Word Of God, The
The Word of God is like a light
That shines serenely thro’ the night;
Its rays will light my weary way
To the realms of a fair, unending day.Refrain
The Word of God is strong and sure,
Forevermore it shall endure,
When oceans cease to kiss the shore,
When suns shall set to rise no more;
’Mid crash of worlds it shall remain
Unshaken midst the starry rain,
Upon its firm foundation strong,
I will plant my feet thro’ the ages long.The Word of God is like a sword
That pierces hearts, thus saith the Lord;
And like a hammer, weighty, strong,
That can break up the rocks of sin and wrong.Refrain
The Word of God is like the bread
On which the hosts of old were fed;
From Heav’n it came to fill our need,
Hungry hearts it will satisfy indeed.Refrain
The Word of God is like a fire,
It kindles in our hearts desire
To see its Author face to face
And to know all the fullness of His grace.Refrain

Thou remainest, Christ, my crown.Refrain

[Rev 19:10] Life And Strength Of All Thy Servants
Life and strength of all Thy servants,
Brightness of the Father’s light;
Men with angels, earth with Heaven,
In Thy praise their songs unite.Thousand thousand warrior princes
In Thine angel army stand;
Flames the victor Cross before them,
Grasped in Michael’s dauntless hand.Hurling back from Heav’n the rebels
With the lifting of his sword,
In the might of God he tramples
On the dragon’s head abhorred.Lord of angels, Christ, we pray Thee,
Bid them aid us in our strife,
Chase afar the hosts of evil,
Till we reach the land of life.God the Father, God immortal,
God the Son, for us Who died,
God the Comforter, the Spirit,
Evermore be glorified!Play source: Cyberhymnal
