Context1:15 until the Lord gives your brothers a place like yours to settle and they conquer the land the Lord your God is ready to hand over to them. Then you may go back to your allotted land and occupy the land Moses the Lord’s servant assigned you east of the Jordan.” 1

Context9:24 They said to Joshua, “It was carefully reported to your subjects 2 how the Lord your God commanded Moses his servant to assign you the whole land and to destroy all who live in the land from before you. Because of you we were terrified 3 we would lose our lives, so we did this thing.
Joshua 23:14-15
Context23:14 “Look, today I am about to die. 4 You know with all your heart and being 5 that not even one of all the faithful promises the Lord your God made to you is left unfulfilled; every one was realized – not one promise is unfulfilled! 6 23:15 But in the same way every faithful promise the Lord your God made to you has been realized, 7 it is just as certain, if you disobey, that the Lord will bring on you every judgment 8 until he destroys you from this good land which the Lord your God gave you.
Joshua 24:15
Context24:15 If you have no desire 9 to worship 10 the Lord, choose today whom you will worship, 11 whether it be the gods whom your ancestors 12 worshiped 13 beyond the Euphrates, 14 or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living. But I and my family 15 will worship 16 the Lord!”
