  	Luk 1:68-79
  1. Mahaterpuji Allahku: Ia lepaskan kita dari kuasa seteru dan segenap derita. Tanda selamat diberi membuat wajah berseri: Mesias akan datang! Kini terkabul dan genap janji Nubuat Alkitab, yang lama didambakan.

• [Luk 15:18] Lord, To Thee I Make Confession

  Lord, to Thee I make confession; I have sinned and gone astray, I have multiplied transgression, Chosen for myself my way. Led by Thee to see my errors, Lord, I tremble at Thy terrors. Yet, though conscience’s voice appall me, Father, I will seek Thy face; Tho’ Thy child I dare not call me, Yet receive me to Thy grace. Do not for my sins forsake me; Do not let Thy wrath o’ertake me. For Thy Son did suffer for me, Gave Himself to rescue me, Died to heal me and restore me, Reconciled me unto Thee. ’Tis alone His cross can vanquish These dark fears and soothe this anguish.   Th’abyss of many a former sin Encloses me and bars me in; Like billows my transgressions roll: Be Thou the Pilot of my soul, And to salvation’s harbor bring Thou Savior and Thou glorious King. My Father’s heritage abused, Wasted by lust, by sin misused; To shame and want and misery brought, The slave to many a fruitless thought, I cry to Thee, who lovest men, O pity and receive again! In hunger now, no more possessed, Of that my portion bright and blest, The exile and the alien see, Who yet would fain return to Thee, And save me, Lord, who seek to raise To Thy dear love the hymn of praise! • [Luk 3:8] Glory To God, Whose Sovereign Grace

  Glory to God, whose sovereign grace Hath animated senseless stones; Called us to stand before His face, And raised us into Abraham’s sons! The people that in darkness lay, In sin and error’s deadly shade, Have seen a glorious gospel day, In Jesus’ lovely face displayed. Thou only, Lord, the work hast done, And bared Thine arm in all our sight; Hast made the reprobates Thine own, And claimed the outcasts as Thy right. Thy single arm, almighty Lord, To us the great salvation brought, Thy Word, Thy all-creating Word, That spake at first the world from naught. For this the saints lift up their voice, And ceaseless praise to Thee is giv’n; For this the hosts above rejoice, We raise the happiness of Heav’n. For this, no longer sons of night, To Thee our thankful hearts we give; To Thee, who called us into light, To Thee we die, to Thee we live.   Father, again in Jesus’ Name we meet, And bow in penitence beneath Your feet; Again to You our feeble voices raise, To sue for mercy, and to sing Your praise. O we would bless You for Your ceaseless care, And all Your works from day to day declare; Is not our life with hourly mercies crowned? Does not Your arm encircle us around? Alas, unworthy of Your boundless love, Too oft with careless feet from You we rove; But now, encouraged by Your voice, we come, Returning sinners to a Father’s home.
