Luke 24:25

24:25 So ¹  he said to them, “You ²  foolish people ³  – how slow of heart ⁴  to believe ⁵  all that the prophets have spoken!

9:41 Jesus answered, ⁶  “You ⁷  unbelieving ⁸  and perverse generation! How much longer ⁹  must I be with you and endure ¹⁰  you? ¹¹  Bring your son here.”

[24:25]  ¹ tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “so” to indicate the implied result of the disciples’ inability to believe in Jesus’ resurrection.

[24:25]  ² tn Grk “O,” an interjection used both in address and emotion (BDAG 1101 s.v. 1).

[9:41]  ⁷ tn Grk “O.” The marker of direct address, ὦ (w), is functionally equivalent to a vocative and is represented in the translation by “you.”

[9:41]  ⁸ tn Or “faithless.”
