  Oh, what are you going to do, brother? Say, what are you going to do? You have thought of some useful labor, But what is the end in view? You are fresh from the home of your boyhood, And just in the bloom of youth! Have you tasted the sparkling water, That flows from the fount of truth? Is your heart in the Savior’s keeping? Remember, He died for you! Then what are you going to do, brother? Say, what are you going to do? Will you honor His cause and kingdom, Wherever your path may be? And stand as a bright example, That others your light may see? Are you willing to live for Jesus? And ready the cross to bear? Are you willing to meet reproaches? The frowns of the world to share? Your lot may perhaps be humble, But God has a work for you! Then what are you going to do, brother? Say, what are you going to do? Oh, what are you going to do, brother? The morning of youth is past; The vigor and strength of manhood, My brother, are yours at last. You are rising in worldly prospects, And prospered in earthly things: A duty to those less favored The smile of your fortune brings. Go prove that your heart is grateful— The Lord has a work for you! • [Heb 1:6] Angels Adore Him

  O’er the hills in far Judea, Rang the first glad Christmas song; ’Twas a grand angelic chorus, Shepherds saw the shining throng. Glory streamed across the heavens, Music echoed thro’ the air; Christ the Morning Star hath risen! Tell the tidings everywhere. Refrain Angels adore Him, Hark! We seem to hear Echoes from Heaven, Angel echoes clear. Jesus the mighty Came to earth to bring Priceless redemption Christ our Prophet, Priest and King! Tell again the sweet old story, Of the shepherds on the hill, When the angels from the glory Sang while all the world was still. Tell again the story wondrous, Of the Infant in the stall, Of the guiding star above Him, Shining o’er the Lord of all. Refrain Angels wondered at His coming, To this scene of earthly night, From the fadeless day in glory, From His home so wondrous bright; Angels looked in deep amazement, At the manger of His birth, Understanding not His purpose, To redeem this sinful earth. • [Heb 1:6] I Love To Hear The Story

  I love to hear the story which angel voices tell, How once the King of glory came down on earth to dwell. I am both weak and sinful; but this I surely know, The Lord came down to save me, because He loved me so. I’m glad my blessèd Savior was once a child like me, To show how pure and holy His little ones might be; And, if I try to follow His footsteps here below, He never will forget me, because He loves me so. To sing His love and mercy my sweetest songs I’ll raise; And, though I cannot see Him, I know he hears my praise; For He has kindly promised that even I may go To sing among His angels, because He loves me so.

• [Heb 1:6] O Holy Lord, Our God

  O holy Lord, our God, By heav’nly hosts adored, Hear us, we pray; To Thee the cherubim, Angels and seraphim, Unceasing praises hymn, Their homage pay. Here give Thy Word success, And this Thy servant bless, His labors own; And while the sinner’s Friend His life and words commend, The Holy Spirit send, And make him known.
