  1. Harap akan Tuhan, hai jiwaku! Dia perlindungan dalam susahmu. Jangan resah, tabah berserah, kar'na habis malam pagi merekah. Dalam derita dan kemelut Tuhan yang setia, Penolongmu!
  2. Harap akan Tuhan, hai jiwaku! Dia perlindungan dalam susahmu. Walau sendu, hatimu remuk, Tuhan mengatasi tiap kemelut. Ya Tuhan, tolong 'ku yang lemah: setiaMu kokoh selamanya!

  Judge me, God of my salvation, Plead my cause, for Thee I trust; Hear my earnest supplication, Save me from my foes unjust; O my soul, why art thou grieving? What disquiets and dismays? Hope in God; His help receiving, I shall yet my Savior praise. For my Strength, my God, Thou art: Why am I cast off by Thee In the sorrow of my heart, While the foe oppresses me?   Give light, O Lord, that we may learn The way that leads to Thee, That where our hearts true joy discern, Our life may be. Give light, O Lord, that we may know Thy one unchanging truth, And follow, all our days below, Our Guide in youth. Give light, O Lord, that we may see Where wisdom bids beware, And turn our doubting minds to Thee, In faithful prayer.
