• [Psa 45:6] Now Be My Heart Inspired To Sing

  Now be my heart inspired to sing The glories of my Savior King, Jesus the Lord; how heav’nly fair His form! how bright His beauties are! O’er all the sons of human race He shines with a superior grace; Love from His lips divinely flows, And blessings all His state compose. Dress Thee in arms, most mighty Lord, Gird on the terror of Thy sword, In majesty and glory ride, With truth and meekness at Thy side. Thine anger, like a pointed dart, Shall pierce the foes of stubborn heart; Or words of mercy, kind and sweet, Shall melt the rebels at Thy feet. Thy throne, O God, for ever stands, Grace is the scepter in Thy hands; Thy laws and works are just and right, Justice and grace are Thy delight. God, Thine own God, has richly shed His oil of gladness on Thy head, And with His sacred Spirit blest His firstborn Son above the rest.

  My Lord has garments so wondrous fine, And myrrh their texture fills; Its fragrance reached to this heart of mine With joy my being thrills. Refrain Out of the ivory palaces, Into a world of woe, Only His great eternal love Made my Savior go. His life had also its sorrows sore, For aloes had a part; And when I think of the cross He bore, My eyes with teardrops start. Refrain His garments too were in cassia dipped, With healing in a touch; Each time my feet in some sin have slipped, He took me from its clutch. • [Psa 45:11] O Royal Bride, Give Heed

  O royal bride, give heed, And to my words attend; For Christ the King forsake the world And every former friend. Thy beauty and thy grace Shall then delight the King; He only is thy rightful Lord, To Him thy worship bring. To thee, since thou art His, Great honor shall be shown; The rich shall bring their gifts to thee, Thy glory they shall own. Enthroned in royal state, All glorious thou shalt dwell, With garments fair, inwrought with gold; The Church He loveth well. And they that honor thee Shall in thy train attend, And to the palace of the King Shall joyfully ascend. O King of royal race, Thy sons of heavenly birth, Thou wilt endow with kingly gifts As princes in the earth. Thy Name shall be proclaimed Through all succeeding days, And all the nations of the earth Shall give Thee endless praise.

• [Psa 45:15] There Is Coming On A Day Of Great Rejoicing

  There is coming on a great day of rejoicing, When all the ransomed shall gather, their Lord as King to crown; All earth’s sorrow and its sin then disappearing, Every heart will the Savior then own. Refrain O the crowning day is coming, Hallelujah! O the crowning day is coming, Praise the Lord! For our Savior-King shall reign, He shall have His own again, Hallelujah, Hallelujah! From far distant lands battalions now are marching, Who will have part in the honors which Jesus will bestow; God be praised for all the souls that now are starting, Swelling the hosts that to victory go.
