• Kau, Allah, Benteng yang Baka [KJ.330]

  	Mzm 90:1-10
  1. Kau, Allah, benteng yang baka, suaka yang teguh, dahulu dan selamanya harapan umatMu.
  2. Sejak dahulu takhtaMu pelindung kaum kudus; dengan kuasa tanganMu Kaubela kami t'rus.
  3. Tatkala alam semesta belum Engkau bentuk, Engkaulah Allah yang baka dan tiada akhirMu.
  4. Seribu tahun bagiMu sehari sajalah, sesingkat jaga malam pun berganti tugasnya.	1 Ptr 3:8

  1. Pujian malam kunyanyikan; syukur, ya Tuhan, padaMu. Meskipun sinar surya hilang, Engkau tetap cahayaku. Tiada sayang ibu-bapak yang menandingi sayangMu: Tak putus 'ku Kau pelihara, Kau Sumber rahmat bagiku.	Mat 7:11

  Lord, Thou hast been our dwelling place Through all the ages of our race; Before the mountains had their birth, Or Thou hadst formed the earth; From everlasting Thou art God, To everlasting our abode. Man soon yields up his fleeting breath Before the swelling tide of death; Like transient sleep his seasons pass, His life is like the tender grass, Luxuriant ’neath the morning sun And withered ere the day is done. Man in Thine anger is consumed, And unto grief and sorrow doomed; Before Thy clear and searching sight Our secret sins are brought to light; Beneath Thy wrath we pine and die, Our life expiring like a sigh. For threescore years and ten we wait, Or fourscore years if strength be great; But grief and toil attend life’s day, And soon our spirits fly away; O who with true and reverent thought Can fear Thine anger as he ought?   Our God, our help in ages past, Our hope for years to come, Our shelter from the stormy blast, And our eternal home. Under the shadow of Thy throne Thy saints have dwelt secure; Sufficient is Thine arm alone, And our defense is sure. Before the hills in order stood, Or earth received her frame, From everlasting Thou art God, To endless years the same. Thy Word commands our flesh to dust, “Return, ye sons of men:” All nations rose from earth at first, And turn to earth again.   Lord, while afar our brothers fight, Thy Church united lifts her prayer; Be Thou their Shield by day and night; Guide, guard, and help them everywhere: O God of battles, hear our cry, And in their danger be Thou nigh.   O Thou who turnest into morning The shadows of the passing night, Again to conscious life returning, We bless Thee for the newborn light.
