  1. Bila kulihat bintang gemerlapan dan bunyi guruh riuh kudengar, ya Tuhanku, tak putus aku heran melihat ciptaanMu yang besar. Maka jiwaku pun memujiMu: "Sungguh besar Kau, Allahku!" Maka jiwaku pun memujiMu: "Sungguh besar Kau, Allahku!"	Mzm 8:4 Mzm 29

  Almighty Ruler of the skies, Thro’ the wide earth Thy Name is spread; And Thine eternal glories rise O’er all the heav’ns Thy hands have made. To Thee the voices of the young A monument of honor raise; And babes, with uninstructed tongue, Declare the wonders of Thy praise. Thy power assists their tender age To bring proud rebels to the ground, To still the bold blasphemer’s rage, And all their policies confound. Children amidst Thy temple throng To see their great Redeemer’s face; The Son of David is their song, And young hosannas fill the place. The frowning scribes and angry priests In vain their impious cavils bring; Revenge sits silent in their hearts; While Jewish babes proclaim their King.

• [Psa 8:1] O Lord, Our Heav’nly King

  O Lord, our heav’nly King, Thy Name is all divine; Thy glories round the earth are spread, And o’er the heav’ns they shine. When to Thy works on high I raise my wond’ring eyes, I see the moon, complete in light, Adorn the darksome skies. When I survey the stars, And all their shining forms, Lord, what is man, that worthless thing, Akin to dust and worms? Lord, what is worthless man, That Thou shouldst love him so? Next to Thine angels he is placed, And lord of all below. Thine honors crown his head, While beasts, like slaves, obey; And birds that cut the air with wings, And fish that cleave the sea. How rich Thy bounties are! And wondrous are Thy ways; Of dust and worms Thy power can frame A monument of praise. Out of the mouths of babes And sucklings Thou canst draw Surprising honors to Thy Name And strike the world with awe.   O Lord, our Lord, in all the earth, How excellent Thy Name! Thy glory Thou hast spread afar In all the starry frame. From lips of children, Thou, O Lord, Hast mighty strength ordained, That adversaries should be stilled And vengeful foes restrained. When I regard the wondrous heavens, Thy handiwork on high, The moon and stars ordained by Thee, Oh, what is man! I cry. Oh, what is man, in Thy regard To hold so large a place! And what the son of man, that Thou Dost visit him in grace! For Thou hast made him little less Than Thy blest angels be; With honor Thou hast crowned his head And glorious dignity.   O Thou, to Whom all creatures bow Within this earthly frame, Thro’ all the world, how great art Thou! How glorious is Thy Name! When Heav’n, Thy beauteous work on high, Employs my wondering sight; The moon that nightly rules the sky, With stars of feebler light; Lord, what is man, that Thou shouldst deign To bear him in Thy mind! Or what his race, that Thou shouldst prove To them so wondrous kind! O Thou, to Whom all creatures bow Within this earthly frame, Thro’ all the world, how great art Thou! How glorious is Thy Name!
