Daniel 2:29

2:29 “As for you, O king, while you were in your bed your thoughts turned to future things. ¹  The revealer of mysteries has made known to you what will take place.

Daniel 6:17

6:17 Then a stone was brought and placed over the opening ²  to the den. The king sealed ³  it with his signet ring and with those ⁴  of his nobles so that nothing could be changed with regard to Daniel.

Daniel 9:12

9:12 He has carried out his threats ⁵  against us and our rulers ⁶  who were over ⁷  us by bringing great calamity on us – what has happened to Jerusalem has never been equaled under all heaven!

Daniel 9:14

9:14 The LORD was mindful of the calamity, and he brought it on us. For the LORD our God is just ⁸  in all he has done, ⁹  and we have not obeyed him. ¹⁰ 

Daniel 10:7

10:7 Only I, Daniel, saw the vision; the men who were with me did not see it. ¹¹  On the contrary, they were overcome with fright ¹²  and ran away to hide.

Daniel 11:13

11:13 For the king of the north will again muster an army, one larger than before. At the end of some years he will advance with a huge army and enormous supplies.

Daniel 11:21

11:21 “Then there will arise in his place a despicable person ¹³  to whom the royal honor has not been rightfully conferred. He will come on the scene in a time of prosperity and will seize the kingdom through deceit.

[6:17]  ³ sn The purpose of the den being sealed was to prevent unauthorized tampering with the opening of the den. Any disturbance of the seal would immediately alert the officials to improper activity of this sort.

[11:21]  ⁶ sn This despicable person to whom the royal honor has not been rightfully conferred is Antiochus IV Epiphanes (ca. 175-164 B.C.).
