2:10 That entire generation passed away; 1  a new generation grew up 2  that had not personally experienced the Lord’s presence or seen what he had done for Israel. 3 

Judges 2:12

Context
2:12 They abandoned the Lord God of their ancestors 4  who brought them out of the land of Egypt. They followed other gods – the gods of the nations who lived around them. They worshiped 5  them and made the Lord angry.

Judges 2:17

Context
2:17 But they did not obey 6  their leaders. Instead they prostituted themselves to other gods and worshiped 7  them. They quickly turned aside from the path 8  their ancestors 9  had walked. Their ancestors had obeyed the Lord’s commands, but they did not. 10 

Judges 11:2

Context
11:2 Gilead’s wife also gave 11  him sons. When his wife’s sons grew up, they made Jephthah leave and said to him, “You are not going to inherit any of our father’s wealth, 12  because you are another woman’s son.”
