  3. Penuhpun setan dunia yang mau menumpas kita, jangan gentar melihatnya; iman tak sia-sia! Penghulu kuasa g'lap, meskipun menyergap, Mustahil 'kan menang; kuasanya ditebang dengan sepatah kata.

  3. Penuhpun setan dunia yang mau menumpas kita, jangan gentar melihatnya; iman tak sia-sia! Penghulu kuasa g'lap, meskipun menyergap, Mustahil 'kan menang; kuasanya ditebang dengan sepatah kata.

  4. FirmanNya pertahankan t'rus dan puji hanya Dia! Dengan kuasa Roh Kudus Ia di pihak kita. Kendati hidupmu diambil seteru, Pun harta dan benda, akhirnya kitalah yang punya Kerajaan!

  1. Siang, malam, musim, tahun gilir ganti melenyap; bayang- bayangnya berlalu, tiada satu yang tetap. Hidup kita menjalani jangka waktu dunia; tak terulang yang terjadi, tinggal tanggung jawabnya.

  5. Bapa, Sumber pengasihan, Bapa dalam t'rang dan g'lap. Bapa dalam kematian, pun di kubur yang senyap, setiaMu tak berubah, kasihMu tetap teguh: Bapa, kepadaMu jua kuserahkan diriku.

  O God, the Strength of those who war, The Hope of those who wait, Be with our sons gone forth to fight, And those who keep the gate. Give to our hosts in battle’s hour Firm hearts and courage high, Thy comfort give to those who fall, Thy peace to those who die. Breathe on our land the spirit calm Which faith in right bestows, And in the hours of dark suspense A faith which stronger grows. In Thee alone we place our hope, Thou Keeper of the just, And Thou, through fight and fire and fears Wilt justify our trust. Thy ways are wonderful, O God, Who makest wars to cease: O let this be the final war That ushers in Thy peace.

  Now praise we great and famous men, The fathers named in story; And praise the Lord, who now as then Reveals in man His glory. Praise we the wise and brave and strong, Who graced their generation, Who helped the right, and fought the wrong, And made our folk a nation. Praise we the great of heart and mind, The singers sweetly gifted, Whose music like a mighty wind The souls of men uplifted. Praise we the peaceful men of skill, Who builded homes of beauty, And, rich in art, made richer still The brotherhood of duty. Praise we the glorious names we know, And they whose names have perished, Lost, in the haze of long ago, In silent love be cherished.   To Thee, Eternal Soul, be praise! Who, from of old to our own days, Through souls of saints and prophets, Lord, Hast sent Thy light, Thy love, Thy Word. We thank Thee for each mighty one Through whom Thy living light hath shone; And for each humble soul and sweet That lights to heaven our wandering feet. We thank Thee for the love divine Made real in every saint of Thine; That boundless love itself that gives In service to each soul that lives.   O people blest, whose sons in youth, In sturdy strength and noble truth, Like plants in vigor spring; Whose daughters fair, a queenly race, Are like the cornerstones that grace The palace of a king, The palace of a king. O people blest, when flock and field Their rich, abundant increase yield, And blessings multiply; When plenty all thy children share, And no invading foe is there, And no distressful cry, And no distressful cry.
