[24:27]  1 tn Heb “his”; the referent (Joash) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

[24:27]  2 tn Heb “And his sons and the abundance of the oracle[s] against him, and the founding of the house of God, look are they not written on the writing of the scroll of the kings?”

[20:25]  3 tn Or “army.”

[20:25]  4 tc The MT reads פְגָרִים (fÿgarim, “corpses”), but this seems odd among a list of plunder. A few medieval Hebrew mss and the Vulgate read בְגָדִים (vÿgadim, “clothing”), which fits the context much better.

[20:25]  5 tn Heb “and they snatched away for themselves so that there was no carrying away.”

[20:25]  6 tn Heb “and they were three days looting the plunder for it was great.”
