  1. Kota Sion, kota Allah, puri agung dan tenar, kau dipilih tempat tinggal oleh Yang Maha Besar. Kau berdiri atas Cadas yang abadi dan teguh, Tiada tertembus musuhmu tembok kes'lamatanmu.   David rejoiced in God his strength, Raised to the throne by special grace; But Christ the Son appears at length, Fulfills the triumph and the praise. How great is the Messiah’s joy In the salvation of Thy hand! Lord, Thou hast raised His kingdom high, And giv’n the world to His command. Thy goodness grants whate’er He will, Nor doth the least request withhold; Blessings of love prevent Him still, And crowns of glory, not of gold. Honor and majesty divine Around His sacred temples shine; Blessed with the favor of Thy face, And length of everlasting days.   Now the king in Thy strength shall be joyful, O Lord, Thy salvation shall make him rejoice; For the wish of his heart Thou didst freely accord, The request of his suppliant voice. • [Psa 48:3] Great Is The Lord Our God

  Great is the Lord our God, And let His praise be great; He makes His churches His abode, His most delightful seat. Those temples of His grace, How beautiful they stand! The honors of our native place, And bulwarks of our land. In Sion God is known, A refuge in distress; How bright has His salvation shone Through all her palaces! When kings against her joined, And saw the Lord was there, In wild confusion of the mind, They fled with hasty fear. When navies tall and proud Attempt to spoil our peace, He sends His tempests roaring loud, And sinks them in the seas. Oft have our fathers told, Our eyes have often seen, How well our God secures the fold Where His own sheep have been. In every new distress We’ll to His house repair; We’ll think upon His wondrous grace, And seek deliverance there.

  My God, my Father, blissful Name! O may I call Thee mine? May I, with sweet assurance, claim A portion so divine? This only can my fears control, And bid my sorrows fly: What harm can ever reach my soul, Beneath my Father’s eye? Whate’er Thy providence denies, I calmly would resign; For Thou art just, and good, and wise; O bend my will to Thine. Whate’er Thy sacred will ordains, O give me strength to bear; And let me know my Father reigns, And trust His tender care. If pain and sickness rend this frame, And life almost depart, Is not Thy mercy still the same, To cheer my drooping heart? Psalms 91:2

• [Psa 91:2] Still Will We Trust

  Still will we trust, though earth seem dark and dreary, And the heart faint beneath His chastening rod; Though rough and steep our pathway, worn and weary, Still will we trust in God! Our eyes see dimly till by faith anointed, And our blind choosing brings us grief and pain; Through Him alone Who hath our way appointed, We find our peace again. Choose for us, God! Nor let our weak preferring Cheat our poor souls of good Thou has designed; Choose for us, God! Thy wisdom is unerring, And we are fools and blind. So from our sky the night shall furl her shadows, And day pour gladness through his golden gates, Our rough path lead to flower-enameled meadows, Where joy our coming waits. Let us press on, in patient self denial, Accept the hardship, shrink not from the loss; Our portion lies beyond the hour of trial, Our crown beyond the cross.
