  	Kej 1:1-2:4
  1. Pada mulanya gelap semuanya, sunyi senyaplah samudera. Allah bersabda: terang bercahya; hari pertama di dunia.
  2. Pada mulanya belum ada langit; atas dan bawah tercampurlah. Allah bersabda: bentangan pun jadi; hari kedua di dunia.
  3. Pada mulanya belum ada tanah yang menumbuhkan tanamannya. Allah bersabda: terciptalah darat; hari ketiga di dunia.
  4. Pada mulanya belum ada surya, bulan dan bintang dan masanya. Allah bersabda membuat semua; hari keempat di dunia.
  5. Pada mulanya belum ada ikan, burung bersayap belum pernah. Allah bersabda: segala tercipta; hari kelima di dunia.
  6. Pada mulanya belum ada hewan yang menemani manusia. Allah bersabda menjadikan insan; hari keenam di dunia.
  7. Pada mulanya semua terjadi: langit dan bumi dan isinya. Allah Pencipta telah memberkati hari ketujuh di dunia.

• Takkah Patut Ku Bernyanyi [KJ.290]

  1. Takkah patut 'ku bernyanyi syukur bagi Tuhanku, kar'na rahmat tak berbanding yang melimpah selalu? Memang sungguh dan setia, tak terhingga kasihNya Dan kekal bimbinganNya bagi yang mengabdi Dia. Biar dunia lenyap, kasih Allah 'kan tetap.	Ibr 1:11

  Alas! how swift the moments fly! How flash the years along! Scarce here, yet gone already by, The burden of a song. See childhood, youth, and manhood pass, And age, with furrowed brow; Time was—Time shall be—drain the glass— But where in Time is now? Time is the measure but of change; No present hour is found; The past, the future, fill the range Of Time’s unceasing round. Where, then is now? In realms above, With God’s atoning Lamb, In regions of eternal love, Where sits enthroned I AM. • [Gen 6:3] Time, With An Unwearied Hand

  Time, with an unwearied hand, Pushes round the seasons past, And in life’s frail glass, the sand Sinks apace, not long to last: Many, well as you or I, Who last year assembled thus; In their silent graves now lie, Graves will open soon for us! Daily sin, and care, and strife, While the Lord prolongs our breath, Make it but a dying life, Or a kind of living death: Wretched they, and most forlorn, Who no better portion know; Better ne’er to have been born, Than to have our all below. When constrained to go alone, Leaving all you love behind; Entering on a world unknown, What will then support your mind? When the Lord His summons sends, Earthly comforts lose their power; Honors, riches, kindred, friends, Cannot cheer a dying hour. Happy souls who fear the Lord Time is not too swift for you; When your Savior gives the word, Glad you’ll bid the world adieu: Then He’ll wipe away your tears, Near Himself appoint your place; Swifter fly, ye rolling years, Lord, we long to see Thy face.

  When God spoke unto Noah, and told him to build the ark, The Lord knew well the vessel would cheerless be and dark, So God said, “Build a window, with outlook toward the sky, That when it’s dark and lonesome, you’ll see Me standing by. Refrain “The storms will come, but fear not, oh, children, I am nigh, And through the upper window, you’ll see Me standing by. “It may be that affliction will rack and rend your frame, Until your mortal body is seared with fevered flame; But do not be discouraged, just lift your tear-dimmed eye, And through the upper window, you’ll see Me standing by. • [Gen 1:1] Creator Of The Earth And Sky

  Creator of the earth and sky, Ruling the firmament on high, Clothing the day with robes of light, Blessing with gracious sleep the night. That rest may comfort weary men, And brace to useful toil again, And soothe awhile the harassed mind, And sorrow’s heavy load unbind. Day sinks; we thank Thee for Thy gift; Night comes; and once again we lift Our prayer and vows and hymns that we Against all ills may shielded be. Thee let the secret heart acclaim, Thee let our tuneful voices name, Round Thee our chaste affections cling Thee sober reason own as King. That when black darkness closes day, And shadows thicken round our way, Faith may no darkness know, and night From faith’s clear beam may borrow light. Rest not, my heaven born mind and will; Rest, all the thoughts and deeds of ill; May faith its watch unwearied keep, And cool the dreaming warmth of sleep.   Eternal God, mover unmoved, Your frightful power was greatly proved When you made all from naught. You formed man in your image bright. You spared our parents no delight And all your world was good and right While your just will man sought. A foe more ancient than the earth, Who reached for your high place of worth, Then launched his fatal plan. And though your law was only one, Eve took and ate, and having done, Bade Adam eat, and in that one All died, and so fell man. Our foe was pleased, but could not tell Your plan of grace for man who fell, Nor measure your design. For so to point to future grace, You set apart a holy race Through faith in what would soon take place, Though veiled with law and sign. You willed for slaughtered lambs to show The way in which your Lamb would go When ransoming his own. For though in one man, mankind fell, This second Adam conquered Hell, And rising, conquered death as well, Then reassumed His throne. Thus while your children war below With flesh and with our ancient foe, Our victory is sure. For you will come with trump and light, And end what’s left of Satan’s might, And take us home for your delight, Eternally secure.

  God, that madest earth and Heaven, darkness and light; Who the day for toil hast given, for rest the night; May Thine angel guards defend us, Slumber sweet Thy mercy send us; Holy dreams and hopes attend us, all through the night. And when morn again shall call us, to run life’s way, May we still, whatever befall us, Thy will obey. From the power of evil hide us, In the narrow pathway guide us, Nor Thy smile be ever denied us all through the day.
