2:1 Solomon <08010> ordered <0559> a temple <01004> to be built <01129> to honor <08034> the Lord <03068>, as well as a royal <04438> palace <01004> for himself. 2:2 Solomon <08010> had <05608> 70,000 <0505> <07657> common laborers <05449> <0376> and 80,000 <0505> <08084> stonecutters <02672> <0376> in the hills <02022>, in addition <05921> to 3,600 <03967> <08337> <0505> <07969> supervisors <05329>. 2:3 Solomon <08010> sent <07971> a message to <0413> King <04428> Huram <02361> of Tyre <06865>: “Help me as <0834> you did <06213> my father <01> David <01732>, when you sent <07971> him cedar <0730> logs for the construction <01129> of his palace <03427> <01004>. 2:4 Look <02009>, I <0589> am ready to build <01129> a temple <01004> to honor <08034> the Lord <03069> my God <0430> and to dedicate <06942> it to him in order to burn <06999> fragrant <05561> incense <07004> before <06440> him, to set out the bread that is regularly <08548> displayed <04635>, and to offer burnt sacrifices <05930> each morning <01242> and evening <06153>, and on Sabbaths <07676>, new moon <02320> festivals <04150>, and at other times appointed by the Lord <03069> our God <0430>.
