• 'Ku Diberi Belas Kasihan [KJ.39]

  Blest is the man, forever blest, Whose guilt is pardoned by his God; Whose sins with sorrow are confessed, And covered with his Savior’s blood. Blest is the man to whom the Lord Imputes not his iniquities; He pleads no merit of reward, And not on works, but grace relies. From guile his heart and lips are free; His humble joy, his holy fear, With deep repentance well agree, And join to prove his faith sincere.   How blest is he whose trespass Hath freely been forgiv’n, Whose sin is wholly covered Before the sight of Heav’n. But he to whom Jehovah Will not impute his sin, Who has a guileless spirit, Whose heart is true within.   O blessèd souls are they Whose sins are covered o’er; Divinely blessed, to whom the Lord Imputes their guilt no more. They mourn their follies past, And keep their hearts with care; Their lips and lives without deceit Shall prove their faith sincere. • [Isa 55:7] Sinners, The Voice Of God Regard

  Sinners, the voice of God regard; ’Tis mercy speaks today; He calls you by His sacred Word From sin’s destructive way. Like the rough sea that cannot rest, You live devoid of peace; A thousand stings within your breast Deprive your souls of ease. Your way is dark, and leads to hell; Why will you persevere? Can you in endless torments dwell, Shut up in black despair? Why will you in the crooked ways Of sin and folly go? In pain you travel all your days, To reap eternal woe. But he that turns to God shall live Through His abounding grace: His mercy will the guilt forgive Of those that seek His face. Bow to the scepter of His Word, Renouncing every sin, Submit to Him, your sovereign Lord, And learn His will divine.
