Joshua 1:2

1:2 “Moses my servant is dead. Get ready! ¹  Cross the Jordan River! ²  Lead these people into the land which I am ready to hand over to them. ³ 

Joshua 4:5

4:5 Joshua told them, “Go in front of the ark of the Lord your God to the middle of the Jordan. Each of you is to put a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the Israelite tribes.

Joshua 4:7

4:7 tell them how the water of the Jordan stopped flowing ⁴  before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the water of the Jordan stopped flowing. ⁵  These stones will be a lasting memorial for the Israelites.”

Joshua 11:8

11:8 The Lord handed them over to Israel and they struck them down and chased them all the way to Greater Sidon, ⁶  Misrephoth Maim, ⁷  and the Mizpah Valley to the east. They struck them down until no survivors remained.

Joshua 11:14

11:14 The Israelites plundered all the goods of these cities and the cattle, but they totally destroyed all the people ⁸  and allowed no one who breathed to live.

Joshua 11:20

11:20 for the Lord determined to make them obstinate so they would attack Israel. He wanted Israel to annihilate them without mercy, as he had instructed Moses. ⁹ 

Joshua 17:4

17:4 They went before Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the leaders and said, “The Lord told Moses to assign us land among our relatives.” ¹⁰  So Joshua ¹¹  assigned them land among their uncles, as the Lord had commanded. ¹² 

Joshua 18:7

18:7 But the Levites will not have an allotted portion among you, for their inheritance is to serve the Lord. ¹³  Gad, Reuben, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have already received their allotted land ¹⁴  east of the Jordan which Moses the Lord’s servant assigned them.”

Joshua 18:12

18:12 Their northern border started at the Jordan, went up to the slope of Jericho ¹⁵  on the north, ascended westward to the hill country, and extended to the desert of Beth Aven.

Joshua 21:44

21:44 The Lord made them secure, ¹⁶  in fulfillment of all he had solemnly promised their ancestors. ¹⁷  None of their enemies could resist them. ¹⁸ 

Joshua 22:4

22:4 Now the Lord your God has made your fellow Israelites secure, ¹⁹  just as he promised them. So now you may turn around and go to your homes ²⁰  in your own land ²¹  which Moses the Lord’s servant assigned to you east of the Jordan.

Joshua 23:16

23:16 If you violate the covenantal laws of the Lord your God which he commanded you to keep, ²²  and follow, worship, and bow down to other gods, ²³  the Lord will be very angry with you and you will disappear ²⁴  quickly from the good land which he gave to you.”
