Psalms 40:6-8

  1. Pengikut Kristus, nyanyilah, berdendang dan menari, terhibur oleh kurnia bersatu dalam kasih: Terang Ilahi berseri, yang dari sorga diberi; harganya paling mahal.
  2. Si jahat dan kuasa maut membuatku binasa. 'Ku lahir dalam kemelut, tersiksa oleh dosa. Semakin aku terjerat: celaka aku yang sesat, dirasuk kejahatan.	Mzm 51:6-7 2 Tim 2:26

• [Psa 40:8] Lord, As Thou Wilt

  Lord, as Thou wilt, deal Thou with me; No other wish I cherish; In life and death I cling to Thee; Oh, do not let me perish! Let not Thy grace from me depart And grant an ever patient heart To bear what Thou dost send me. Grant honor, truth, and purity, And love Thy Word to ponder; From all false doctrine keep me free, Bestow, both here and yonder, What serves my everlasting bliss; Preserve me from unrighteousness Throughout my earthly journey. When, at Thy summons, I must leave This vale of sin and sadness, Give me Thy grace, Lord, not to grieve, But to depart with gladness. To Thee my spirit I commend; O Lord, grant me a blessèd end Through Jesus Christ, my Savior.

  All things are Thine; no gift have we, Lord of all gifts, to offer Thee: And hence with grateful hearts today Thine own before Thy feet we lay. Thy will was in the builders’ thought; Thy hand unseen amidst us wrought; Through mortal motive, scheme and plan Thy wise eternal purpose ran. No lack Thy perfect fullness knew; For human needs and longings grew This house of prayer, this home of rest, In the fair garden of the West. In weakness and in want we call On Thee for Whom the heavens are small; Thy glory is Thy children’s good, Thy joy Thy tender Fatherhood.   God of the earth, the sky, the sea! Maker of all above, below! Creation lives and moves in Thee, Thy present life in all doth flow. Refrain We give Thee thanks, Thy Name we sing, Almighty Father, heavenly King. Thy love is in the sunshine’s glow, Thy life is in the quickening air; When lightning flashes and storm winds blow, There is Thy power; Thy law is there.   This is my Father’s world, and to my listening ears All nature sings, and round me rings the music of the spheres. This is my Father’s world: I rest me in the thought Of rocks and trees, of skies and seas; His hand the wonders wrought. This is my Father’s world, the birds their carols raise, The morning light, the lily white, declare their Maker’s praise. This is my Father’s world: He shines in all that’s fair; In the rustling grass I hear Him pass; He speaks to me everywhere. This is my Father’s world.   The world for God! The world for God! There’s nothing else will meet the hunger of my soul. I see forsaken children, I see the tears that fall From women’s eyes once merry, now never laugh at all; I see the sins and sorrows of those who sit in darkness; I see in lands far distant, the hungry and oppressed. But behold! On a hill, Calvary! Calvary! Refrain The world for God! The world for God! I give my heart! I’ll do my part! The world for God! The world for God! I give my heart! I’ll do my part! The world for God! The world for God! I call to arms the soldiers of the blood and fire: Go with the Holy Bible. • [Psa 50:16] Thus Speaks The Lord To Wick­ed Men

  Thus speaks the Lord to wicked men: My statutes why do you declare? Why take My covenant in your mouth, Since ye for wisdom do not care? For ye My holy words profane And cast them from you in disdain. Ye have consented with the thief, Ye have partaken with the vile, Your mouths to evil words ye give, Your tongues proclaim deceit and guile, Ye glory in your brother’s shame, Your mother’s son do you defame. Thus have ye done; I silence kept, And this has been your secret thought, That I was wholly as yourselves, To take your evil deeds as naught; I will reprove you and array Your deeds before your eyes this day.
