  6. Ditimbang pada cabangmu Tebusan bagi dunia: tawanan maut bebaslah, terangkat di neracamu.

  8. Salam, mezbah dan Kurbannya, sebab sengsara mulia: Yang Hidup memasuki maut; terbitlah hidup abadi.

  6. Janji pada masa lampau dalam Dia t'lah genap. Dialah yang disyairkan di halaman Alkitab. Sudah datang Jurus'lamat; puji syukur menggegap selamanya dan abadi.	Mat 1:22-23

  5. Bapa, Sumber pengasihan, Bapa dalam t'rang dan g'lap. Bapa dalam kematian, pun di kubur yang senyap, setiaMu tak berubah, kasihMu tetap teguh: Bapa, kepadaMu jua kuserahkan diriku.

  Music I love—­but ne’er a strain Could kindle raptures so divine, So grief assuage, so conquer pain, And rouse this pensive heart of mine; As that we hear on Christmas morn, Upon the wintry breezes borne. Though darkness still her empire keep, And hours must pass, ere morning break; From troubled dreams, or slumbers deep, That music kindly bids us wake: It calls us, with an angel’s voice, To wake, and worship, and rejoice. To greet with joy the glorious morn, Which angels welcomed long ago, When our redeeming Lord was born, To bring the light of Heaven below; The powers of darkness to dispel, And rescue Earth from death and hell. While listening to that sacred strain, My raptured spirit soars on high; I seem to hear those songs again Resounding through the open sky, That kindled such divine delight, In those who watched their flocks by night. With them, I celebrate His birth; Glory to God, in highest Heaven, Good will to men, and peace on Earth, To us a Savior King is given; Our God is come to claim His own, And Satan’s power is overthrown! • [Luk 2:1] On A Day When Men Were Counted

  On a day when men were counted, God became the Son of Man, That His Name in every census should be entered was His plan. God, the Lord of all creation, humbly takes a creature’s place; He Whose form no man has witnessed has today a human face. On a night, while silent shepherds watched their flocks upon the plain, Came a message with its summons brought by song of angel train: Lo, in Bethlehem’s little village has arrived the shepherd King, And each shepherd to his Master must his sheep as offering bring. When there shone the star of David in the spangled eastern sky, Kings arrived to pay their homage to the Christ, the Lord most high. Yet not all, for lo, there soundeth through the streets a fearful cry; For a king who will not worship has decreed that Christ must die. Yet it’s Christmas, and we greet Him, coming even now to save; For the Lord of our salvation was not captive to the grave. Out of Egypt came the Savior, man’s Immanuel to be— Christmas shines with Easter glory, glory of eternity.
