  O how sweet the glorious message simple faith may claim Yesterday, today, forever Jesus is the same. Still He loves to save the sinful, heal the sick and lame Cheer the mourner, still the tempest, glory to His Name. Refrain Yesterday, today, forever, Jesus is the same. All may change, but Jesus never! Glory to His Name! Glory to His Name! Glory to His Name! All may change, but Jesus never! Glory to His Name!   Brief life is here our portion; Brief sorrow, short lived care; The life that knows no ending, The tearless life, is there. O happy retribution! Short toil, eternal rest; For mortals and for sinners A mansion with the blest! And martyrdom hath roses Upon that heavenly ground, And white and virgin lilies For virgin-souls abound. There grief is turned to pleasure; Such pleasure as below No human voice can utter, No human heart can know. And after fleshly weakness, And after this world’s night, And after storm and whirlwind, Are calm, and joy, and light. And now we fight the battle, But then shall wear the crown Of full and everlasting And passionless renown. And He, whom now we trust in, Shall then be seen and known; And they that know and see Him Shall have Him for their own. And now we watch and struggle, And now we live in hope, And Zion in her anguish With Babylon must cope. But there is David’s fountain, And life in fullest glow; And there the light is golden, And milk and honey flow. The morning shall awaken, The shadows flee away, And each true hearted servant Shall shine as doth the day. • [Heb 13:15] Praise To God Who Reigns Above

  Praise to God Who reigns above, Binding earth and Heav’n in love; All the armies of the sky Worship His dread sovereignty. Seraphim His praises sing, Cherubim on fourfold wing, Thrones, dominions, princes, powers, Marshaled might that never cowers. Speeds th’archangel from His face, Bearing messages of grace; Angel hosts His words fulfill, Ruling nature by His will. Yet on man they joy to wait, All that bright celestial state, For in man their Lord they see, Christ, th’incarnate Deity. On the throne their Lord Who died Sits in manhood glorified; Where His people faint below Angels count it joy to go. Oh, the depths of joy divine, Thrilling through those orders nine, When the lost are found again, When the banished come to reign! Now in faith, in hope, in love, We will join the choirs above, Praising, with the heav’nly host, Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

• [Heb 13:15] Lord Jesus, We Give Thanks To Thee

  Lord Jesus, we give thanks to Thee That Thou hast died to set us free; Made righteous through Thy precious blood, We now are reconciled to God. By virtue of Thy wounds we pray, True God and Man, be Thou our Stay, Our Comfort when we yield our breath, Our Rescue from eternal death. Defend us, Lord, from sin and shame; Help us by Thine almighty Name To bear our crosses patiently, Consoled by Thy great agony. And thus the full assurance gain That Thou to us wilt true remain And not forsake us in our strife Until we enter into life.

• [Heb 13:20] Blood Of His Covenant

  Blood of His Covenant, Sprinkles down upon us, Cleanses our filthiness; washes from sin! Pour down upon our hearts! Flood over our rescued souls! Seal our great acquittal from all guilt within! Gone are my stains of guilt; Gone my deep pollution; Gone, gone to Calvary; lost in His grave! There lies my wickedness, forever buried! Spotless, I adore Him, for all that He gave! Closed is the great abyss! Silent, my accuser! Only Christ’s righteousness speaks now for me. I feel His nail-scarred hand, tenderly washing all! Loved in the Beloved, O how can this be? Worship the mystery! Fall in mute amazement! Murmur astonished praise there at His feet! Now breaks my heart of stone; now comes His Spirit; Now my heart of flesh is quickened to beat.

• [Heb 13:20] Faith In The Blood

  If asked whereon I rest my claim To full salvation’s joy, If nothing more I need to name, Or other words employ, Besides our Savior’s blood and wounds, To me all-satisfying grounds; I answer then, “My claim is good! ’Tis based on Jesus’ blood.” This is my hope’s foundation firm, Which ever shall endure; Yea, at the end of life’s brief term, I’ll rest thereon secure, And dreaded death shall lose its sting, As of my Savior’s wounds I sing; His precious blood shall be the key That opens Heav’n for me.

• [Heb 13:20] Now May He Who From The Dead

  Now may He Who from the dead Brought the Shepherd of the sheep Jesus Christ, our King and Head, All our souls in safety keep. May He teach us to fulfill What is pleasing in His sight; Perfect us in all His will, And preserve us day and night. To that dear Redeemer’s praise, Who the covenant sealed with blood, Let our hearts and voices raise Loud thanksgivings to our God.
